Winter time means lip balm time :) in a girl’s life. Before I bought VLCC Daily Protect Lip Balm (Honey), I had my rendezvous with many other lip balms ;) including Nivea Fruity Shine Pink Guava. So, here is my review on it.

My views you can use:

What flavours is in it, doesn’t matter to me as long as it’s not too strong or toxic. This is because delicious or bland; I would not consider tasting it knowingly. If you are a fan of flavours and shimmer this product is worth a buy. It is way better than Maybelline baby lips. It decently moisturises and gives nice shine with hint of pink. The shimmer is not excessive, which I like .Nivea has stressed on the point that pink guava flavour is delicious, as if they expect or recommend tasting it.

Well, I scratched & sniffed the pack for fruity guava smell (it says so) but it wasn't there or was so mild that my nose sensors failed to detect:P. So if you bought it for some fun-Sorry.

In conclusion, it is a decent product which offers color hue with good moisturisation. Along with that, it provides (SPF 10) UVA & UVB rays protection. I suggest give this a try.

Winter has arrived and so have the chapped lips! This has aggravated my dry lip issue. To keep dryness at bay I went to a nearby drugstore to buy any balm to save my lips. I have tested Vaseline petroleum jelly many times. It gives temporarily relief and does repair to an extent but I hate the overall feel it gives. So, I was looking for something I haven’t tried yet. Well, I didn't have much to choose as there was only two options available in one brand VLCC, Mango & honey. All other lip care brands were sold out! Ah!!!:-? That shows there are many sufferers and no buyers of VLCC :(.So, I was either lucky to have good one others didn't think worthy of or it is tried ,tested and detested product. Anyways, I chose honey as it is said to have beneficial properties.

• This moisture rich formula soothes and conditions lips, keeping them soft and supple
• SPF 15 protects from harmful effects of sun.
• Light, non greasy formula, provides long lasting moisture leaving the lips supple and hydrated.

VLCC Honey Lip Balm is undoubtedly a good product, which honestly delivers all that it claims. It is light and non greasy. Having SPF 15, along with conditioning the lips to make it soft and hydrated it protects against harmful sun rays. Guess what? It smells like Alpenliebe! Or maybe that’s how Shea butter smells or honey smells:|.Another great thing is that this isn't a tinted balm thus it can be used as a lipstick base.

It is very slow as far as repair is concerned so, if you are suffering from severely cracked lips then you need to show patience or switch to other product. I will not count this as a con because this one does not even claim that it repairs damaged lips, it only claims to protect and it really does that very well.

My views you can use:

Maybelline Color fix formula does gives 6 hours of black, bold, smudge resistant look that just don’t budge without the use of an eye makeup remover or oil. It is surely water resistant. It glides easily but needs to be swiped back and forth to get intense look. Considering eye area is very delicate I wish it gives same intensity in one gentle swipe. The one claim I disagree is that it gives blackest black shine. It definitely gives black color but the effect is matt not glossy or shiny. I liked that it has nice eye friendly ingredients but still the whole ingredient list is missing.

This one has retractable mechanism so no need to sharpen the tip. But the retractable mechanism stopped working, so every time I use,I have to manually push it back with my fingers :-S

The shade 18 is very nice hot pink color while shade 24  is Mexican pink, which looks Red in photograph(See swatches).

It delivers most of the things it claims :"> .Their so called fancy color lock technology actually works!!! It is indeed long lasting and chip resistant to a certain extent. Off course it starts to chip after 3 to 4 days, but then it’s not heavy chipping. This is far better and thicker as compared to L’Oreal Coloroma cremoso and Maybelline nail paints. It gives nice glossy (not over the top) finish to your nails and yeah :) it dries faster than other nail paints. There are plenty of shades to pick from. Vibrant pinks to classy Reds, funky green to cool blues, Oranges, lavender, yellows & whites...You name it, they have it. I did not buy the conditioner. May be because no one was buying they had to sell this as a combo pack. Buy shampoo and get conditioner free free free!!! Don’t believe someone voted this product of the year! 8-| .This just cleans the dirt off your hair and scalp.

This shampoo claims to build natural cement of your hair through L'Oreal ceramide cement technology =)).Please L’Oreal, don’t do worthless research.

Usually, they say buy shampoo & conditioner from same range to get best result. I used it here and it did nothing but made my hair-

I bought this for the ingredient list mentioned on the pack. I don’t know where all the goodness of castor oil, cocoa butter, wheat germ oil, kokum butter & bees wax have gone. I had lot of expectations from this, so much that I choose to neglect the paraben in it. This is a tinted lip balm so it gives a slight plum color to your lip and moisturizes. But, the moisturisation is just superficial and you need to apply it every time you feel dry. Overall, it’s a decent tinted lip balm. The color is exactly as given in the pics.

Cons:

• Paraben-Lip balm is for lips so it is bound to get inside,which is not a good thing.:-S
• Temporary moisturizing ability

No smell, super creamy ....SUPER LIKE :)

I have been using this for around a year. Revlon Colorburst Lipstick has no smell; it is super creamy and just melts on your lips. The shade Sienna is brown but has reddish tint to it (see pics).It’s a great color, highly pigmented and has decent hydrating power. But, you need to reapply every two-three hours as it tends to fade. I apply it for few minutes and then rub it gently to give my lips slight nice color hue for normal day wear:-$. To get heavy color for bold look or functions just apply as you apply your regular lipstick.

I feel this shade is too dark for a woman in 20s. But, it depends on the kind of look you are sporting.As for as shade is concerned, you have plenty of them to chose from. I would love to explore other shades in Revlon Colorburst Lipstick range.

I am always in search of a non-greasy effective cream with good sun protection factor, and that’s where I met this product.This is my second tryst with Olay. I had tried olay regenerist under eye cream, which is a high priced junk. So, I bought the smaller pack B) of this to avoid disappointment but it took me by surprise :)

Its serum formula has vitamins and saffron, ficus indica, turmeric & rose.
It spreads easily, absorbs quickly & helps give you,

• Fairer skin
• Even skin Tone
• Soft & smooth skin

My views you can use:

I would say Olay Natural WHITE 3-IN-1 FAIRNESS serum does not have the consistency of a serum. I think it should be called a cream instead!  Anyways, this one gets absorbed quickly and gives no sticky or oily feel leaving your skin soft and smooth. I must admit this is a good cream which evens out your complexion a bit. However, the claim of a fairer skin is false. It just evens your skin tone to give temporarily fairer look. The pack says it offers UV protection but how??? The exact ingredients are not mentioned.I hate products that keep you in dark about the complete ingredient list.

Cons:

• Complete list of ingredients are missing (including SPF content) and the pack only mentions the natural ingredients in the formula, I find this misleading. I think it is the right of the customer to know everything about the product they use.
• Fairness claim.

My views you can use:

MAX EFFECT lip gloss in Vivid Red has strong fruity smell of strawberry. When you apply this on your lips, it goes right into your CNS and bugs:-O .Gals if you love smelly products and you sniff your stuff before buying,this one's for you.I feel very uncomfortable owing to its strong smell, which when goes in while breathing makes me cough:-& .Apart from this, it’s slightly sticky.

Another shabby thing about this tube is that it’s leaky. It doesn't give any effect of a lip gloss; forget about the Max effect from this. Even though this product has not reached expiry date, the gloss part and the pink tinted shimmer part has separated, turning the emulsion into slightly coagulated thing in the tube. Still, you can use it on the mercy of your luck. If white glossy thing comes out, I use it as lip balm and if it’s tinted Voila!! You have MAX EFFECT lip gloss. Congratulations!!! =D>

It does temporarily moisturize, but eventually dries up your lips.The shade Vivid Red when spread gives very slight tint of color as compared to when seen in the tube.Some people may find the fruity smell too tempting to lick. Doing this, I don’t know along with artificial flavors what all toxic chemicals they are taking in. I don’t recommend this to anyone.The max factor of this tube can  give is high on shine slightly tinted color that wears off quickly.Sometimes I use it as a gloss or over lipstick to give sheen so that I don't feel guilty seeing it lying unused somewhere.

:)/5 Overpriced Trash. There are plenty of cheap tinted lip glosses in the market to go for.
